You dont need 2 put your phone 2 sign up but try on a computer its easier

Facebook sometimes required mobile phone verification, Its all because of using already registered IP address in the facebook database for creating the facebook account earlier.

for create a facebook account you not not have to give your phone number..
it is optional....
