go to profile and then go to edit profile then go to gender , if you want it not to appear in your profile then edit privacy to yourself . If you don't ever want it on your profile then delete it

you cannot "Remove" you gender but you can Hide it !

for that,

log-in to your profile

open the profile page click on your name

click on "Update info"

under "Basic info" just un-check on "Show my gender on timeline" option

click on save to make changes live

2-Click on your name upper right corner for editing profile.

4-Click on save.

It will be visible after saving your data.

Facebook then will refer you as "they, their", so as if you have more than one gender.
