Could i delete or contact facebook have sent friend request by mistake?

Just go to that person's profile, and where the "Add Friend" button should be, you'd find a "Friend Request Sent" button. Hover your mouse to that and click the option on the bottom, "Cancel Request" That should do it

Yes, next to the persons name, there is the icon to add as friend (or request friend). Go back to the persons name and click the icon again. That'll give you the option to cancel friend request.
