How to hide old posts on Timeline on Facebook?
I tried everything but my pictures from 2009 are still visible on Timeline
abraXus story is: I uploaded photos on somebody's profile. These photos appeared on my Timeline. When somebody coming to my profile he can see only these photos. Only way I found to hide these photos is to "Hide from timeline" which I don't like because I want to see them on my Timeline. So there is really no other way except to click on "Hide from timeline"?
Fatima there is no such thing you talking about

hope this works:
1.go back to your old posts
2.you will see an "earth" symbol , or a "friends" symbol (or something that is a symbol) on the lower of your picture.
3.press that
4.you will see something like this:
friends
only me
public
etc.

5. just pick only me and then only you can see your OLD post on timeline.

Tip: make sure that you're internet connection is good while doing this because it may not work.

So you're saying that you upload those pic on others Timeline, but you see that in your own Timeline?

So, it's the result of tagging that pic to you. If you want to see that pic, but don't want others to see it in your Timeline then go to Account Settings ➤ Timeline & Tagging Setting ➤ set to Only Me on Who can see posts you have been tagged in your Timeline.

Just remember, others can still see that picture in other place, eg if they search "Photo of [your name]".
