Is it weird to add people you don't know on Facebook? I'm a 19 year old girl and there are some guys I wanted to add on Facebook. I've seen them around but I know they've never noticed me and would have no idea who I am, but we have mutual friends. So would it be acceptable if I added them or does that freak people out if they don't personally know you?

I have 400 friends. Most of them are from a game we have in common. I enjoy having a lot of them there. It is very common and not weird.

Um well if you have more than just a couple mutual friends then it wouldnt be as weird. Just add them, ( theyll friend you as long as you dont look like a creep). People add random people on facebook all the time just to have more friends. Trust me, over half of most people's friends on facebook dont even know who is who, they just want more friends

It's fine to add people you don't know on FB. It's up to that person they gonna accept the friend request.

it is weird, it can also get you're account banned. send one to the wrong person, they say they don't know you, and you are gone....
