I know Facebook, MySpace and Twitter are great ways to help promote my company, but I don't have the time to learn them. How much would a marketing firm charge me to run my social media?

Personally the time it took you to post this question, you could have a Facebook "Page" setup!! Follow this link http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php and it takes 5 minutes, invite all your friends...then BOOM everyone sees it!! Better then paying people a lot of money to do it!! Save your money we are in a recession lol

Hi Brie,

Our company is a top 10 Internet Marketing company. We have been featured for two consecutive years within the Inc. 5000's fastest growing companies in the United States. We are WELL versed in every facet of social media, including Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

I recommend not solely revolving your campaign around these channels however. With a social media campaign, we'd target specific communities that cater to your specific demographic. If you're selling luggage, for example, we'd heavily participate in travel-based social networks and forum communities.

We also have an award winning that accurately measures your website's total presence within social media called "Prime Buzz".

For social media marketing services, we generally charge anywhere between $1,000 - $7,000 / month (we have clients that pay more / month however).

We can, however, create a social media marketing proposal free of charge that outlines the scope of work that we'd implement, your total presence within social media compared to the competition, how your target audience currently perceives your business (mood of target audience), among other data.

if you'd like to know more, please visit our website directly at http://www.primevisibility.com or send me a direct message (primevisibility@ymail.com) and I'd be glad to help.

You can find a firm to handle your social media for as little as $500 a month. However, what you might want to do is create an E-Marketing Plan. This would distill your company's brand, set forth your objectives, and allow you to allocate resources in an organizeed and tactical way. . It would be also serve as an emergency manual when you have to make tough decisions at critical junctures. Much better than develop strategies ad hoc, as the need arises. Sure, you can jot your ideas down on a napkin over lunch and run with it, but these "let's put on a show" ideas are seldom sustainable in the long run. It takes good tried-and-true business practices to succeed in business..
Also, there are a lot of good ideas out there: learn to cherry-pick and adapt to your own needs.
Typical of free idea sources is word-jobber.blogspot.com. While this site limits itself to direct marketing, it's pretty shrewd. Best of all: there's a new idea every Monday, just in time for a long week.
