Accepting friendship in facebook?

Is it possible to accept an incoming friend request but at the same time I don't want to appear visible in his chat list

You can accept him but when you log onto Facebook go onto to the chat bar on the right side of the age and there near the search at the bottom there will be a cogwheel symbol. Click on that and then click 'turn chat off.' People then won't be able to see that you are online so they won't talk to you.

ya this is possible what all you have to do is accept the request and then when that friend came online click on there name in online list you will find setting option in the chatting box from where you can turn of the chat with that particular friend.
