How can I take profile pictures like these for Twitter?

Are you looking for the type of editing?
These pictures were basically edited.
It resembles the "cross process" effect.
If you have any questions on how to edit,
just lemme know.

I guess im not quite sure what your asking.
If your talking about the affect you can go to http://www.picnik.com
Upload the photo you want and edit it to look like that
To edit it like that, after uploading your picture go to "effects: in the toolbar near the top. Then find the icon in the side bar that says cross process.

It's an app for the iphone called "Instagram" just download it, make an account and connect it to twitter. Then when you take a picture you can edit it and write a description, but you have to check the box to post it to twitter!
