Facebook photos on my timeline?

I was looking through my 'photos of me' in facebook which I rarely do and there were so much pictures of me which I didn't like others to see, but i got worried because whenever I clicked them they were always 'allowed on my timeline.' Most of these photos were posted by my mom but she doesnt allow anyone except for her friends to access her photos, albums, wall etc. Will my friends who are not friends of my mom see those photos on my timeline? If you're tagged in them, your friends will see them. But, if you edit it, and put it as "do not allow on timeline", then your friends won't be able to see them. It will no longer show up in your tagged photos.
