How do you write in 'Trending Topics' on Twitter?

I just got twitter a few months ago and I still dont know how to write on Twitters 'Trending Topics'. Does anybody know how?

You can't 'write' to Twitter's Trending Topics, because the Trends are calculated automatically by Twitter. They are topics that are currently mentioned a lot in the public timeline.
What you can do though, is to join the existing one, or you can always start one yourself.
