Why do I receive so many friend requests from Arab/Middle Eastern men?
As a teenage girl, it is fair to say that I receive a handsome sum of friend requests from Middle Eastern men on many social networks. I know that I am not alone in this, as many of my female friends face the same scenario, and nobody quite knows why. I do not friend these men (or any strangers for that matter).

They usually say something like: "You are beautiful do you want to make friendship ?" or something of the like.

My question is, why? Why do these men add me when they do not know me, they do not speak my language very well, and they live so far away from me? Do they have any other motives or intentions?

DISCLAIMER: I am not racist toward Middle Eastern men, I am racist toward creepy or strange men of all races and nationalities.

Thank you for reading and considering my question, please have a nice day.

I am not a racist either.
I suppose this is because middle east has strick islamic countries. So, there must be very less women capable of and allowed to use facebook, you would agree. So, it is likely that most of the guys can not have female friends not even outside of facebook. I guess that's why they want/need to have foreign girl friends.
Also, if you are european or american, perhaps they choose you over asian or african ones because of the perception that women are open about sexuality in developed countries. So, it seems likely that actually creepy and genuinely lonely, both kind would choose you.
JUST GUESSING!
