How do i change chat sound notification settings for each individual friend on facebook?
I have some friends on facebook who have annoying habits such as sending multiple messages in a short amount of time and saying "you there?" less than a minute after asking a question.

Is there a way to change sound notifications for the more annoying facebook friends that spam messages?

click on the gear icon
go to Advanced Chat settings

u can see 3 options

1. Allow all friends except
2. Only for some friends-
3. Turn Off Chat
