Why do people (mostly girls) feel as if facebook is their diary?
Also I'm trying to work on my grammar and punctuation so please tell me what I did wrong in this sentence and the one above.

Everything looks okay to me. You could have also replaced the parenthesis with commas. Other than that all looks good.

I missed something, there should be a comma after the word Also in your second sentence.

usually it's teenage girls that treat it like a diary... not everyone who uses facebook is a teenager

but they do it because they are trying to figure out how to get popular in real life, and by posting everything they do online, they get a reaction that they crave - in one word - attention
