How come I can't follow people on instagram?

Everything is working fine with the app except that I can't seem to follow people. I click follow and the app turns off and when I get back on instagram again, i still can't follow the person. I can unfollow people but not follow. I've tried to delete the app and install it again and turning my ipod on and off but it's not working. Whats wrong with it? I haven't reached the limit, im way below that.

Instagram is having a lot of problems right now. It sucks. Really what we all have to do is wait until a better update comes out. Now that it's a part of fb, it's all poop. But idk why you can't follow. That's really weird.
