My mom looked through my facebook messages?
My mom just came into the room and told me she read my messages and knows I'm smoking pot again. And I know, many of you will instantly assume that I'm crazily addicted and she had a right to go through my messages but I barely ever smoke pot. And now she has zero trust for me. Honestly, if she drug tested me now, i'd be clean. But I believe she had no right to go through my private messages without my permission. I know she is older than me and I should respect this but I'm having a really hard time with it. I've never felt more exposed, humiliated, and angry at my mother. Those are my personal messages. I really don't know what to do. I can't look at her without wanting to cry and I also lost all trust for her. I know many of you will take my moms side, and i can see why. But I don't know what to do or say.

It's Facebook...and if you're under 18 I think she has every right to go through your messages.

They are not your "personal messages". Anything you put on the net is public, period.
Second, you're a kid. You have no right to privacy, only that which your parents choose to give you.
You did terribly stupid things, apparently more than once.
Then bragged about it in public.
How much trust and respect do you think you deserve after that?

You need to apologize and make serious efforts to get your life in order.
Recognize that you're lucky enough to have a parent that cares, and start doing things right.

Wtf you smoking pot for? You are a minor still. At least crank it out when you about to turn 18. But anyway, smoking is good and bad for people. The only bad side i can think of is that its illegal for minors and people in some states, and it gives the munchies. It has good side effects too, but i doubt i need to explain it.

Your mom will trust you again after you prove your trustworthy.
