Is Facebook okay to use?

Okay so im 14 and about a year ago my mum and dad took me off of Facebook because they were worried that I would see these videos going around in there like a woman shoving a fish up her vagina...or some shit like that and other bad videos,
My mum said I can have Facebook back when things get better on there.
Are things getting better, because I really want Facebook!

Facebook is fine to use. Does your mom not understand that if you wanted to see that stuff, you could just Google it? Things like that are very rarely (if ever) on Facebook.
