In twitter.com, Retweet means if someone has tweeted something, then you can retweet. That means you tweet will also display to your all followers. If you want to Reply of someone tweets, then there is reply link under the every tweets. If you don't want to show someone your tweets then you can change your settings and it won't be shown in public.

If you want to mention someone in twitter you have to use @+user name like for an example my name on twitter is 1234 so if want to mention me something then we have write down like this "@1234 how are you!"

If you want to hash tag something to find it in the future you have write down the word putting a # before the word, like if have made a quote about love in the twitter I'll use the hash tag #love after the quote and if anyone want to find quote about 'love' he or she can search it through "#love"
