How to upload screenshots to Instagram?

How to upload screenshots to Instagram?
I know you click the little icon near the camera button to open up your gallery (I have a HTC one x by the way) but it always makes me crop my screenshots to where they are useless. Has anyone found another app that'll let me edit screenshots to fit on Instagram? Or any alternatives? Thanks.
