Why is she showing up as offline?

I usually talk to one of my friends on face book but it isn't showing she's online. But when I click on her name it says active now. Why is this? (iPhone app)

I have the same problem, but really there isn't anything we can do about it now, as facebook is still tampering with updates.

You can always see who is online by going to your home tab and on the left is a panel showing your friends with a green circle indicating that they're online, just click on the icon of the person you want to talk to and this will open up a chat tab in the bottom of your web browser.

That's all I can really suggest now until facebook fixes the kinks and what not.
