Is there any way to stop my posts to a group on facebook from showing up on other folks' newsfeed?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying anything ridiculous, I realize it's all public and anyone can see it, but I don't like the idea of this stuff showing up on my newsfeed. People might take something out of context or think I'm spending too much time posting in a facebook group, lol

Anyway, is there any setting that stops my facebook group postings from showing up on newsfeed? It's an open group.

the only option would be to add your friends to your restricted list so they cannot see any of your activity
