I need someone who knows anything and everything about Twitter please help!?

Okay well i wrote this guy a whole new direct message off of Twitter but then i pushed the "delete conversation" button right after i wrote it and before he had got the chance to read it...so even though i deleted it from my inbox, when he look at his messages, will he still recieve the message i sent him? Please help, your answers will be very well appreciated.
Oh and i tried it on my bestfriend and did the same thing to her she said she didn't recieve a message from me so i just thought maybe the guy didn't recieve the message then, i guess?

As long as you sent the message, he would have received it. You deleting it just deletes it from you're client (at least that's how it works in most messaging programs, i cant see twitter making it different)
