Facebook page short description doesn't change even though it says "changes saved"?

Hi,

I'm a co-manager of a Facebook page. In fact, I'm not the creator but I was selected as an admin by the first creator-manager. I want to change the short description field of the page. I go to 'update info', i click edit in the short description field, I write the new text and I click 'save changes'. The next moment it says 'changes saved' and the field flashes in yellow. However, the text doesn't seem edited at all, it remains exactly as it was like nothing changed. I have tried to follow the same process several times but I don't see any results. I have also searched google but found no references on this specific problem. Can it be that the other admin has to give permission for the change? However there is no message like that. Any possibe solutions?

It could take time for it to show, maybe the next time you log out and then in again the changes should be there.
