how to hide message option from public in new facebook ?

Previously facebook has the option of hiding the message option from the public .. and only visible to the friends !! but the new facebook has not this option .. anybody know how to disable/hide message option for public ? Any chrome or mozilla extension ?

It's easy. Just go to Privacy Settings. There are two options under "Whose messages do I want filtered into my Inbox?" select "Strict Filtering"
