Help on a facebook question please?

On facebook, somebody that is not a friend of mine nor is on my friends list commented on a post that I put on a group and wanted to message me but he said he couldn't because my account is set to where people that are not on my friends list cant send me massages. How do I change that to where he can send me a message so that we can communicate without sending him a friend request?

You wont be able to do that unless you change your privacy setting or add them as a friend. Changing your privacy settings will allow ANYONE to do the same so be careful with that. Otherwise you just change your privacy settings.

Click on the Lock Than Click on Who can Contact me Than Set it to Basic Filtering and Than Once you have Done That See if He Can Message you Now
