Are you fed up with Facebook?

I joined FB to share ideas and learn new things, and to follow people who have hobbies, careers, etc. doing things that also interested me. Instead, what I received was constant "LOOK AT ME!" "SEE WHAT I BOUGHT!" "THIS IS WHERE WE WENT OUT TO DINNER!" updates, as well as discovering some members of my family had gotten engaged or were expecting babies before they even announced it privately.
Even my friends whom I thought were normal people turned into self-obsessed attention freaks. I'm tired of loved ones—you know who you are—who claim they are too busy to pick up the phone, or even write a decent email, yet spend hours on social media sites, uploading selfies, forwarding inane quizzes, posting quirky, sometimes nonsensical one-liners or tweeting their latest whereabouts. Such a vehicle for narcissism, and no one cares.
I deleted my account and now I get called a freak for not being on Facebook and keeping my personal life private. I recently got engaged and some people told me it couldn't be true cause I didn't announce it on Facebook. How crazy is this?

Sounds like you need new friends, with intresting things to say, that are private and talk to you personally which respect you and not call you a freak

No, I still like it. I go on Face Book for about 10 minutes
about 3 times per/week to see what my kids, and grand
kids have been up to.

im halfway fed up with facebook and waiting to see what the zuckfreak pulls next,i just found out that facebook has now gone into peoples friensip pages and without permission,removed friends off their lists! I say facebunk has gone way to far and that doing what theyre doing is downright rude.
