ok well sometimes i send messages to my friend on fb. well he never answers back but it doesnt say he saw the message either. is it possible that he could have seen the message without it saying "seen at this time"? or it only show when he saw it?

basically if it says he hasnt seen it he probably hasnt unless he looked at it clicked once on the message picture and then clicked the little cirle but there would have been a time between him viewing it and him marking it as unread where it would tell you he had seen it x

yes, it is possible. they can just click on the "message icon" and then list of conversations appears and he just sees what you wrote without clicking in it. OR If he has you chat window open he as long as he doesnt click on it he can see all the messages you send appearing "seen at this time"
