Is it rude to delete other people's posts on my facebook timeline?
Sooo before you answer please read the description here. I have some "friends" on facebook who I am acquaintances with in real life, but who I don't hang out with. Some of them are kind of weird and I added them just to be nice. The other day one of them posted some weird link on my timeline and I have been considering deleting it. These acquaintances post stuff on my timeline frequently and without warning. My friends usually see it before I do and they will text me and be like " did you see what so and so posted on your timeline?! so weird..." and I feel like they think I talk to these people more than I do because of it. I would never post a ton of stuff on random people's timelines so I guess I don't understand why they do it. It's one thing for my close friends to post stuff, but for these randoms to post stuff it's kind of irritating. Am I wrong? Or is there some justification in me thinking this is annoying? Should I delete their posts?? And if I do delete their posts will they find out and get mad at me??

Hi there,

Sure there is no problem in deleting the weird posts. They're on YOUR timeline. Those people shouldn't get mad cause it's your right to do this. If they get mad, there's something wrong with them.

I advise you to use the privacy setting regarding who can post on your timeline.
You need to go to the settings button on the top, right of your name and select Privacy settings. There you go to "Timeline and Tagging".
Here you can set who can add posts to your timeline.

Also you can "review" all the posts on your wall BEFORE they appear to others Wink

Hope this helps you!

If you don't like what they put then delete it! It's your Facebook and you can do what you want on it!
