I have a white collar job with a large company. In the last year several of the young college educated employees were fired for using there cell phones or social media during working hours. It makes wonder why parents don't do any thing to prevent this from happening to there kids

even if the parents do anything the kids will always find a way to get back on the net because of curiosity.

I'm not an adult but my parents don't let me have a cell phone and my computer time is limited unless it is for homework. It kind of sucks but I get good grades and do heaps of sport so I don't care Smile

My 12 years daughter tends to sleep less when they have mobile in their hands. This again happens as a result of addictive texting, gaming, and internet usage at the beginning of getting a phone which I gave her as birthday gift,I realize this is a very serious problem. So I do something to prevent her from becoming addicted to the cell phones,I just note down the amount of time she is spending on your mobile phone. Make an attempt to reduce the amount of time talking on the phone. Set limitations for herself,or I'll get back the cellphone, now she has done well well.
