I've deleted my facebook account?

I deleted my facebook account yesterday and I'm going through the deactivation process which means my account will be gone 26th October.

Is deleting facebook a good thing these days

Your choice.
To be honest, I wouldn't bother deleting it - just incase you change your mind and can't refind old friends. You can (or could!) deactivate it (or simply not log on) but you don't lose anything and can easily just start using it again should you wish to.

It's up to you. I did the same thing four days ago. Allegedly, I have 10 days to go before it's fully deleted. I can hardly wait for the deletion of my Facebook account to be complete.
