If I report a picture of myself will it be deleted?
My mom posted an awful terribly ugly picture of myself on Facebook and I asked her to delete it but she didn't do it! What will happen if I report the image, will the picture be automatically deleted? It's not offensive or anything like that, she just posted it without my consent and the image is setted "public", I really really want it to be deleted cause everyone can see that and everyone must think I look really ugly and old, but I don't look that bad in real life .. Will the picture be deleted if I report it? Thank you..

Why does everyone care so much about appearance... nobody is going to think less of you over that.... thousands of photos are reported a day on Facebook, and they obviously don't look at every single report, and even if they did they wouldn't delete a non-offensive photo for no reason

It requires more than 1 report for a problem before facebook removes it, If I were you, just talk to her on what you feel.

Alice -
This is your mother you're talking about. Don't demand that she delete the picture. Talk to her like a human being and explain how you feel about the picture being viewed by everyone. Tell her that you are embarrassed by this picture and ask her to PLEASE take it off Facebook or to set it to private. Facebook will not delete a picture simply because someone is so vain that they don't think they look good in a picture. It would have to be inappropriate. |
