Do I message this girl or wait for her to message me?

I went on a date, with this girl on friday, the one came, anyway, on the day, i messaged her, because we had agreed to meet up on Monday (tommorw) i said to her, if she could check her schedule and get back to me, it would be great.

Anyway, today is Sunday, and she hasn't replied, my dad and gran tell me to leave it because its best not to pester her, but i just want to make sure, i read somewhere that if you confidently talk to them again, it may help, that sometimes being impatient, does help your chances,
