People are unfollowing me on twitter!!!?

Hi, I have like 51 followers and when someone follows me it becomes 52 but then the next day it becomes 51 again and I've even counted them and it goes down to 51 and this happens every single time, it's like someone doesn't want be to have more than 51 followers and its getting really annoying. If I gain like 3 more followers, the next day my followers will go down to 51, it's getting really frustrating. What can I do?!

is you privacy on followers only? If so it's possible that people just follow you just to see your pics then unfollow you because they have already seen your pics

Hmm, you should if you post 3 or more tweets a day your followers are getting annoyed, just keep it to 1-2 posts a day and only post important things, like " it's my birthday"

Some people just follow loads of people then unfollow them the next day to boost their ratio. It's sad really but it happens.

Okay, take a screen cap of everyones names! Press prt sc button up at the top of your keyboard. Then tomorrow when it happens check if its the same person who is unfollowing you each time and ask them if it is what the hell is going on!!
Don't be upset about it, my facebook friend followed me for a while but when we got closer he unfollowed me and we're just friends now! WTF?!
I'd follow you! Don't be sad I had it a lot I got a new follower one following me and cause I didn't follow him back straight away he stopped! I was pretty damn pissed off!

Not sure... You know, it could be a glitch. Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Youtube.... pretty much every website has some kind of glitch from time to time.
One time... and glitch on my Facebook lasted for a whole month. I couldn't check my wall or look at anything. Just my own profile.
Anyways, don't beat yourself up about it. It's just Twitter. I mean, it's nice to have a lot of followers on there... but it's not the most important thing in the whole world. If this KEEPS happening, try to find that same question somewhere. Just because someone can't answer your question doesn't mean someone else didn't get an answer.
Keep searching! DO NOT go to yahoo answers for everything.. but it is helpful. I suggest going to google and typing your problem in. Then you can see if this problem was answered on another website.

Lol its not a big problem you know. Listen there is this site named unfollower which shows you who you recently unfollowed n visa vera . Its quick and easy, just sign in with your twitter account. And don't worry its reliable and confidential as well.
