If someone denies my Facebook friend request, will it still be on my activity log?

So I know this is really dumb, but I cant remember if I sent a friend request or not to somebody, and it still says add friend. I thought I sent it, but it doesn't even say "You sent a friend request to ****." In my activity log. Did I not send a request, or did they deny it and the request was deleted? I wanna be their friend, but I don't want to be annoying and send multiple friend requests after being denied. Thank you!!(;

If someone denies the request, it no longer says that you sent them a request in your Activity Log. Wait a while and then send it again if you want...pretend you forgot you sent one before.
