will people be able to tag me if i deactivate my account in facebook?
i am totally confused. i found out from the facebook site that people can tag you in photos even if i deactivate my account. is it true will people be able to tag me if i deactivate my facebook?

please provide my the useful answer. i don't want anyone to tag me after i deactivate my account in facebook.

No. If you deactivate your account no one can tag you. I've had friends deactivate theirs and it's like they don't exist anymore.

yup. they can. before you deactivate your account they ask if you want to receive notifications and if you want your friends to tag you in photos and stuff. so if you don't want to you have to check the box below after selecting your reason for deactivating. if you keep it unchecked you'll be getting notifications and people can tag you in photos. Smile

If they tag you but your account is deactivated only your name will appear in the photo. But there won't be any link to lead to your deactivated profile

When you deactivate your account, your timeline and all information associated with it disappears from Facebook immediately. People on Facebook will not be able to search for you or view any of your information.
