How can Social Media affects your life?

List sites of social media you joined and tell us how/what things affect your life.

What I can share is that lots of kids become hurt and disappointed by being dropped from the friends lists on Facebook when they don't know why.

That some ordinary happy kids compare their pics and lives with others who are super-kids, and leave the site feeling demoralized and inferior.

I think kids take them too personal, and believe everything they see and read, and too often feel left out. Like, the sites have become too competitive, regular popularity contests..
