Urgent Facebook Question!!!?

I inboxed someone yesterday who I know, but am not friends with on Facebook and there was a phone symbol next to message, showing she was logged in using the app. It still says that she hasn't seen my message, but since I sent it, she's logged out and back into the app. So has she not checked her inbox or not seen my message? She has no reason to ignore me as we know eachother and I've only just found her on Facebook which is why I've messaged her.

Sometimes, if you're not friends with someone and you message them on Facebook, it's not sent directly to their inbox. It's sent to their "Other" folder, which can be a pain in the butt to even notice if you have anything in there. What you might want to do is actually add her as a friend and then send the message or find an alternate way to message her. She probably didn't even see you said something to her.

there are a way to see a message without making the facebook put the word seen it. that person most likely clicked on the message icon and saw a part of a message and decided to ingore it without actually going in the actual message which will make it seen it.

She may have her inbox set to "Other" So anyone not on her friends list will have a message put in the 'Other' section of her inbox where she will receive no notice of the message and won't be able to view it on the mobile app..

Plus that mobile icon doesn't mean online on mobile it just means they have the mobile app and if you sent them a message it will pop-up on their mobile. But because she must have the Other inbox enabled I imagine she won't see the message until she logs on at a computer.

its probably nothing... when using the phone its kinda hard and stuff so she probably just missed it... she'll see it eventually

Because your Not Friends With that Person Messages Are Sent to the Other Folder Which is Not the Regular Inbox And She Does Not Get a Notification For Message in the Other Box The Only Way She Would See it is If She Opens the Other Folder

I Would Recommend Sending Her a Friend Request First and Having Her Accept it And Than Send her a Message
