Social Market vs. Free Market Economy?

Social Market vs. Free Market Economy?
What are good and bad things about a social market economy and a free market economy. What are the pros and cons? This is for my economic hw.

I have a serious bias toward a free market economy just to put that out there.

Social Pros: equal distribution of all goods and full equality in a perfect system. (but thats near impossible)
PRO/CON (it depends on view) large government and very controlling.
con: not most productive with given resources

Free market: pros: Maximum production with resources ability of growth.
Pro/con: small gov.
Con: unequal income distribution(poor people)

These are just a few there are many others but I have hard time putting it into words.

Eg. soc. see russia in the 60s
eg free market see us pre welfare state pre 1920s
