why am i getting random friend requests?

i got 426 friend requests all at the same time on Facebook. it was all people from Malaysia or areas around that and its not spam cause they keep messaging me and i don't know who they are. and it happened to my friends. one girl got 400 another got 900 and it's the same people who friended me are friending them. what the hell is going on?

perhaps you've been hacked. maybe you should close your account, just as a precautionary measure and so you don't get your identity stolen or whatever. i doubt it's just a glitch in the system.

DAMN! never had that happen. I do get friend request from people over there. But nothing in a long time. I would change your password and report there account.
