Going offline on Facebook?
Know on the Facebook apo for Android devices and iOS devices, how do you put yourself offline without logging out of Facebook and same goes the Facebook messanger app as well

you need to go into chat settings (a cog like icon)
and there should be an option to "turn off chat" or "go offline" on chat.
