Why are there random adds on the screen?
So yesterday my computer was fine I could watch youtube videos at 1080p, I could browse easily but then this morning I log on and my computer has been taking a bit time to load and when I try to go onto youtube there are add on the side of the screen and at the bottem they say "ads not by this site" and I think I disabled one add and it said something about the "cookies". I have no idea what that is but please tell me is what happening a bad or good thing and what should I do?

I don't know if it helps but I no longer have Norton.
