Why do people actually make fake accounts on Facebook?

A lot of people make fake accounts to either play games, look at other people's pages or just simply for spam. You can always block them (:

They make them for fun or for annoying other people or for doing such things that they can't do by using their personal accounts!

Trolling, advertising, spamming and since so many games require you to invite friends to do just that. In your case, the latter probably isn't the case. It's most of the time just spamming and don't forget you can always ignore them and report them to facebook (actually I don't know for sure if you can report them for that kind of spam).
