How can i get twitter followers?

I just started twitter a few days ago after hearing people talk about it for years I was excited to start a twitter account but the sad thing is all my friends have a Kik and not a twitter So i don't have a clue on how to get any followers I don't want to just go around asking people to follow me and ill follow them I kinda feel like thats bribing and am not comfortable with it for some reason im not exactly a social butterfly and i want to meet new people on there and break out of my shell since im starting high school and all in a few days so what can i do to attract followers or to get followers thanks in advance

search in google. there are lot of ways to get twitter followers or when you followed some one they will follow you. Just do it on your self.
