I'm Scared To Ask My Parents For A Twitter?
Okay I admit it. 15 might be young too use social networks to some people. But I really want it. I'm not gonna follow random people. Just my family to keep in touch, my friends to see their pics, and Brian Tong from CNet! (And Maybe Apple Inc!) I'm just scared to ask my parents because when it comes too the internet, their not always yes people! My mom was even worried when I asked her for an Instagram last year! Now I have one, but all you really do is pictures. Wait! I cant say that because all my friends post some stupid vids on it! Ugh, anyway I'm getting off topic. So, can you give me some pointers to ask them for a twitter? Thanks!

Ask them to set it up for you so they know the login/password. That way if they are ever paranoid about what you are doing or who you are following, they can just login and see for themselves.
You can direct them to Twitter's resource for parents as well. (linked below) Ads |

SHUT UP Jordan OML. You don't have to be such a ****. You have to be at least 13 to go on social networks like Facebook or Twitter, so you freaking lied about your age. I'm going to report your answer...
Anyway, don't be embarrassed to ask your parents. Just reason with them about how you can stay safe and tell them why you want a Twitter, and if they still say no, you could even offer to do something responsible like cleaning up the house. That ALWAYS works with my parents. |
