Really important facebook privacy settings question please help!!!?
The custom settings on facebook isn't working for me at all. I've been told to go through all my content and redo the privacy settings to how I want it, but I've tried this and the only settings that work are all friends or only me. This really sucks because I want some but not all to see my content, but when I try to set the privacy to specific people, it doesn't matter, everyone can see it anyway. The only time it attempts to work, is if I have say one person who can't see my content and the rest who can. If I put up to ten who can't see the content then it goes back to being all or no one! Why is facebook doing this? arghhh :/

If you click on the security lock then on "who can see my stuff" then on "custom" you should be able to add specific people you DON'T want to view your content.

Always make sure the check box is unchecked for tagged people. Once someone is tagged, there's not blocking them from viewing your content.

For example, I have it set to Friends only. If I want to block an individual, I just type their name in the box under "Don't Share This With" After you finish adding the people you don't want to share with, click save and you should be all set.

I'm having the same problem. Even though my settings say certain people are blocked from seeing my statuses, they are still able to like and comment on them. All you can really do is report the issue to Facebook.
