does anyone know how to make it so people can only see your profile picture on facebook?

I have tried everything. It shows my whole profile even after I set it to only friends I want them to only see my name and profile picture? Please help

I suggest adding friends or etc whom you really don't trust to your "restriction" list. You can do that by visiting their profile and clicking on the drop down menu like below or next to his name where it has a check mark and it says "friends". Click that and it will give you options. Uncheck all and only select "Restricted".

Follow that same rule for everyone whom you really don't trust and don't want them to see much of your timeline.

The restricted list is used to hide posts, photos & etc. they will only be able to see your Cover Photo and profile picture.

After adding your friends to the restriction list simply change the privacy setting of your posts to "friends". Everyone in your restricted list will not be allowed to view that.
