The therapy market is growing due to the commercialization of health care. No matter where you turn there is an ad telling you that something may be horrifically wrong with you.

It is nothing but only issue of business scoop. The better therapy can be improvising oneself. Social life can also help relaxing the you. Man should be more socialistic.

Yes, hardly anyone has a faith that they live by now days- and this does have a direct link to the rise in people looking to Psychologists for help. In reality, psychologists know very little about human behaviour, we are such complex beings, they guess using all the info they do know. But who better to ask than the man who creadted us- God! People on a whole are not spiritual anymore, and i believe that communities on a whole are breaking down as a result of a loss of religion (belief in God, heaven/hell), morals and standards...as these things are the most powerful regulators of human conduct.

yes...therapy is growing because social ties are becoming lesser. Also nuclear families decrease social ties further.

for example --> instead of 1 person paying the bills. you have all the nuclear families paying their own bills. thats just a small example but it piles up. shopping etc.

I feel therapy is becoming more common because society is less judgemental about it than in the past. It used to be something to hide. Now more people are understanding that it can be very helpful.
