From a marketing/business standpoint. Not from a social one.

When a very annoyed person, with a large pin, thinks it's time to end the madness.

When the Social Media, Facebook, Twitters, LinkedIn, start releasing tons of press releases about how wonderful things are. Once an abundance of PR hits the market, I mean a lot of PR, it means social media is starting to tread water. Right now social media is quite healthy so there are not much in the general news.

It wont. You see the people who run around yelling "media is evil, stop watching the news, stop giving movie stars attention," but all these people are doing is seeking the media spotlight themselves and further inflating the bubble.

Any people who truly despise the media and are not seeking the spotlight avoid the camera but then no one ever hears about them or their plight.

I would say there is maybe a small possibility that it could pop from a social standing. From a marketing one though as long as they are doing their jobs correctly I don't see one happening unless their was a huge religious movement that caused everyone to burn their tv's.
