is it possible to completely hide my facebook wall, from everyone?

i have had facebook since 2006. i haven't logged in since 2011 and i don't know how timeline works. basically i do not want to have a facebook wall anymore. i want to hide all of my old status' and conversations. is this possible? are users able to easily block years out their timeline? i only want people to be able to see my photo albums and my profile pictures...

Is that "people" including your friends? To have nothing, then delete your account. If you want nobody see anything, set everything to Only Me, remove tag, delete share.
