Should I get a Facebook?

I never really wanted one, even when it was a big deal, but I kinda want one now, just to see what it's about. Should I get one? Or is everybody moved on to other stuff?

I think it's dying down a little. People I know don't use it as often as well as people using it tok much. I say make one just to see if you like it but who knows, maybe all the people you know use it everyday.

Get one if that is what you want to do. I had one before and I deleted mine about 5 years ago and I'm glad I did. It's a lot drama and creepin' on peoples pages to see what they are doing and then get down on yourself or upset about something you see. Or people just get SO addicted to it, there computer/phone is always in their face. It makes life easier in my opinion to not have a facebook. It is nice for saving your photos and seeing your friends you haven't seen in a long time. However, I feel if someone wants to talk to me that badly, they can get ahold of me or should already have my number.. Everything is always advancing with the internet so there will always be something bigger and better, but facebook is still going strong, at least I think... lol
It's totally a personal choice if you feel you want one or not. For me personally, it's something I don't want.

The site is okay. I deactivated mine in other words, it's not visible to anyone and the way to reopen is if I put in my password. Don't bother, it's a time-waster. Sure you can interact with your friends, but are you really? It's pointless, I kept having all this pointless and stupid drama on there. Don't get one,you can have a better social life by actually going and talking to people face to face or over phone or hell even skype. Other than that, it's stupid, I don't see how people on there actually talk to over 300 people. With the friends list, I think it's all for show. I mean if someone goes to your school, do you actually talk to him, or want him/her on your friends list for show? Don't get me started on the stupid attention whores and 13 year olds. Answer: No. If you have a social life already, don't bother.

I agree with Hildegard, it is dying down, I set up an account in 2007 because I was pressured by friends, but never really got to using it till 2012 really... I find it quite nice because you can keep up with your friends, since I live abroad, but I always try to consciously remind myself to not overdo it. Community pages and such can be tricky, they can be addictive, so I promised myself I wouldn't look them up anymore, i just go through my feed and talk to my friends, whether it is on chat, or traditional messaging.
