New real estate agent.. using social media to find buyers question...?
I just signed to a well known broker company. I am 30 years old and know social media very well. It may be awhile until I have my own listings though.
I want to focus on finding buyers at first, but if I use Twitter or Facebook, can I mention properties available on MLS in the surrounding areas? I am not sure if I am allowed to promote other agents listings. Maybe instead of saying "Just Listed" I can say "MLS Listing:" and mention the property. How does that work? Ads |

Yes you can mention other agents listings as they are public record and the public does have access to the MILS. I would either find a mentor, coach or ask your Broker if they have a new agent program, most do. If your working with a well known company you should have no problem asking questions and if you do, you may want to rethink what will work for you.

You need written consent for each property since almost all listings are exclusive, meaning you can't promote them.
